Athanasios Papadas

Athanasios has a diverse international background spanning law, finance, and business development. Among others, he has experience in third-party dispute funding as well as in legal technology. Business development has been a major component of his career across various roles in law and legal finance alike.
Before relocating to Toronto in 2015, he maintained a busy practice in Greece, assisting public and private corporations as well as financial institutions with their corporate/commercial disputes, including civil enforcement proceedings.
Besides pursuing a Ph.D. in international dispute financing, Athanasios holds two Master of Laws (LL.M) degrees in International Business Law, and in Civil and Civil Procedural Law obtained at Osgoode Hall Law School and Democritus University of Thrace, respectively.
